# Payout Rejected

> Webhook event fired when a member of your team rejects a payout pending approval

> An approver rejected the payout. It was never sent, and the reserved funds are released back to the source wallet.

`REJECTED` is a final state. The `approval.rejection` block carries the reason the approver gave and when they rejected it. As with failed and canceled payouts, the payload carries no fees: none were charged.
